International 3D Sculpting Contest 2025

Welcome to the Jury Panel – Troy The Toyrat Tribute 3D Sculpting Contest 2025

Dear Judges,

It’s a great honor to have you as part of the Jury Panel for the Troy the Toy Rat Tribute – International 3D Sculpting Contest 2025, organized by Sculpting Magic and The Toy Rat Enterprises.
Your artistic vision and professional insight will be invaluable in helping us celebrate the finest talents in digital sculpture worldwide.

What We Expect from the Jury

1. Final Evaluation Only:
   The jury will be responsible for evaluating the 10 finalist sculptures. Preliminary rounds (from maximum 100 initial entries down to 10 finalists) will be conducted internally by our curating team.

2. Evaluation Materials:
   Each finalist’s submission will include:
   – High-quality renders (JPG format)
   – 3D model files (STL and FBX formats)
   – A short sculpting process video (1–3 minutes)
   You will receive secure access to review these through our online evaluation portal.

3. Judging Criteria:
   – Fidelity to Troy’s character and chosen cinematic theme
   – Technical quality and 3D print readiness
   – Artistic creativity and composition
   – Level of detail and expressive quality
   – Authenticity and clarity of the modeling process

4. Timeline:
   – Evaluation period: December 14–18, 2025
   – Winner announcement: December 20, 2025

5. Final Verdict:
   The combined feedback and scores from all jury members will determine the Grand Winner, who will receive $1,000 USD and 10% royalties from the sales of the produced collectible.

Video Interview

As part of the contest’s communication and promotional campaign, we would like to record a short video interview (Through Google Meet) (about 15 minutes) to introduce you as one of the official members of the Jury Panel.
This brief video will highlight your career, artistic journey, and role in the contest, helping our community and participants get to know the talented professionals behind the selection process.

Our team will contact you shortly to coordinate the recording schedule at your convenience.
